Hello!

So, you're here. Now I bet you want to know a little bit more about me. :) Well..I am a Newlywed, who married an Officer in the Air Force and pretty much left everything I have ever known behind me. From now on, home is where the AF sends us. :) Right now, the AF has us on the East Coast. We live in the DC area, and are close to both Maryland and Virginia. I am not really particularly fond of much I have seen in Maryland, I prefer to spend off time in Virginia or DC. My favorite place in Virginia is definitely the part of Alexandria, Virginia that people refer to as 'Old Towne.' It has tons of little restaurants, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. It is amazing! It just puts me in an amazing mood anytime I am there! I adore it! Another thing I really love about being here, is that, in most places, you park and walk to see everything. I love being able to see everything outside of a car, because you miss so much when you aren't up close with everything. :) Speaking of parking and walking, another way to get around here, is by Metro, which is the subway system in DC. I just had my first Metro experience recently, and was pleasantly surprised. In the movies, they always make it seem like they are so scary and such, but the DC Metro is in fact, pretty nice. We are also about 30 minutes from Baltimore, so far all I have seen there is the airport. :) We are about 45 minutes from Annapolis, off the Chesapeake Bay. I LOVE Annapolis, it is much like 'Old Towne,' but is all on the bay! It is beautiful as well!

Now that I have gone on and on about the area I live in, I must tell you more about ME. :) I grew up in East Texas, and I still believe that Texas is the best state in the US. :) I miss it! I love cooking. For me, cooking is a new found love. I love making spicy foods and Oriental foods, for the most part. I also have a love of cupcakes! :) Speaking of food, I have been able to try some amazing local food..such as, crab cakes, crab quesadillas, a Rueben at my favorite pub in 'Old Towne,' & Chai tea (one of my latest addictions!). Other foods that I am just addicted to are: soft sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles, chips & salsa, ice cream, Choxie dark coconut almond truffle bars, anything flavored like pumpkin, anything spicy, & Dublin Dr. Pepper.

I love fashion, but I really don't dress in the latest fashions. I do my own thing. If I like it, I get it, if someone is wearing it or not. Recently, I purchased a new staple for my wardrobe, a black fitted blazer to go with jeans, from H&M. I really have staples that I can mix up for a timeless look. I love solid color t-shirts, button up shirts, graphic tees, and cute tops for going out. I love InStyle magazine, they show you how to mix up what you have for different looks and occasions. It's about versatility, not quantity, neccessarily. I LOVE jeans. Jeans and tees. Jeans and cowboy boots. Jeans and heels. Jeans and ANYTHING! I love Levis jeans the most.

I love PHOTOGRAPHY! I will soon be working toward my degree in Professional Photography, and I am super excited about being able to make a living doing what I absolutely love!

I LOVE being an American. I may not agree with everything our country does, but I damn sure support the troops who defend our freedom and keep us safe. Here is something to think on..'Only two defining forces have ever chosen to die for you. Jesus Christ and the American soldier. One died for your salvation, the other died for your freedom.' So next time you think about disrespecting our troops, remember, were it not for them, you wouldn't be able to open your mouth and voice your opinion.

I love going to Cafe Press, they have amazing personalized military clothing and much more! You should check it out. :)

My husband and my Mom are my best friends. I have two sisters, one by birth (Whit), the other by choice (Tori). I sometimes feel like no one considers me to be their best friend.

I LOVE PINK! If it comes in pink, I usually want it! I even considered a crappy laptop, just because it was PINK. I also LOVE the PINK! collection, from Victoria's Secret. I looove the sweats. I have like 5 pair of sweat pants!

I love Mandy Moore. She is definitely one of my style icons. Her style is so modest and she still always looks amazing! I love and miss Texas country. I love hazelnut tea. I like the effects of working out, but I still have to force myself to work out. I love good deals. I am addicted to Grey's and soon Private Practice as well.

I love tons more things, but I am hungry and tired of writing. :)
