Here's some Christmas decor eye candy for you..

The bright and sparkly stuff is in our foyer and the more traditional stuff is in the kitchen/dining room/living room.

Christmas tree pictures to come!

Sunset on the Atlantic.

One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. A sunset on the Atlantic, from the deck of the Queen Mary 2.

What I wouldn't give to take another voyage on the QM2. I hope to blog about my Transatlantic Voyage soon. I'm a bit behind, but that's probably a good thing..it means we are enjoying every minute we have in Germany! :)

Mall Lights.

J & I took a little quick trip to my favorite mall in our local area.

We frequent this mall because they have a TK Maxx, the European equivalent of TJ Maxx. I LOVE TK Maxx! In the states, one of my weekly pastimes was to drive to Marshall's and Ross, about once a week, to browse the new arrivals. So, while in Germany, TK Maxx will be my stand-in. :) I don't go quite as often, which is probably better, since the dollar doesn't go too far in Germany. :) Those low prices get me every time and I forget about the exchange and spend wayyy too much money!

Anyway, Germany loves CHRISTMAS! And, the mall is no exception with their decked out decor. It reminds me of the Dallas Galleria with all the gorgeous trees and lights! It almost feels like home.

Early Christmas Present (or bag..)

A little birdie flew in and told me this bag was on sale for a steal. So, I bought it. How fun is this bag?!

Tschüss,

Victim treats his mugger right.

Wow.

Village Weihnachtsmarkt.

Tonight, J & I went to check out the Weihnachtsmarkt in our village. It was small, with only a handful of booths, but we still very much enjoyed it. :) We got some little surprises for sending back home, but they won't be surprises if I tell you all about them. Maybe another time.

I hope you are enjoying your Christmas season!

Kaiserslautern Weihnachtsmarkt.

J & I headed down to K-town, also known as Kaiserslautern, to their Christmas market. It was a nice evening at the market. And, the gluwein and treats were delicious, too. :)

Homemade lebkuchen.

Myself & Father Christmas.

J & Father Christmas.

Our 'puzzle-ball' treat. It was dough covered with cinnamon & sugar. It was supposed to have a little apple surprise inside, but I think they forgot it. :)
